Definitions
The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form
Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and the makeup artist for the agreed fee
The amount payable by the client to the makeup artist for the services listed above
The event: Relates in principle to the date whereby the event (i.e the wedding) takes place
The party: Additional members of the bridal party
Securing the booking of the event
The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to the makeup artist and the client must stick to the agreed time and date. This is non-refunable an additional fee occur or the booking may be cancelled should the client change the arrangement.
The agreed retainer – is required to secure the event.
Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for the event - non-refundable once paid
The client is responsible for securing wedding date booking within 24 hours from Trial appointment. Returning at later date for the actual wedding will be at the client’s time constraint risk
Payment
The non-refundable deposit paid by the client is taken off the final agreed balance
Booking will be fully confirmed when the client has made an advance payment
The fee for the actual event is to be paid in full by the client (7 days ) before the event
Failure to pay the fee in full will result in the services being cancelled
client advised to take out wedding Insurance cover
Responsibility of the client
The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition
The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, abusive, threatening or drunken behaviour.
Timekeeping
The Client/s is expected to stick to the scheduled booking time with the makeup artist.
If client/s is running late the makeup artist must not be interrupted during services in order to ensure the best quality outcome
Disclaimer
Makeup artist will not accept any responsibility for any incident/s that may occur in the venue which may affect the performance of her artistry. The client will be charged for a repeat performance.
Cancellations
At any point the client can cancel the event by informing the makeup artist in writing
The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any monies paid up until point of cancellation, however, the client will not be liable for any further payments
The client can cancel a trial at any point, however, a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate
Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given -will result in a refund to the client. No further compensation will be offered
unforeseen circumstances
In the unlikely event (should the makeup artist be incapacitated or otherwise), a suitable replacement will be deployed with ALL agreed requirements. Full comprehensive details from trial undertaken by Tracey’s brides and pictures will be passed over to the replacement make-up artist.
However, should the client decline the incumbent make-up artist, a full refund of wedding day booking will be given.
Photography
Clients are required to take a ‘before and after’ picture of makeup on trial day in order to clarify and differentiate what had been agreed on the day. The makeup artist may use any photograph for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages.
Transportation/Accommodation
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses or any venue transfers of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking
This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges for bookings in and outside London or Internationally is the sole responsibility of the client including fares/transfers and accommodations may be necessary.
